Update 10/21/2008: pics of the listing have been removed because they depicted a different rest stop.there are no woods at the rest area east of Flag about the 233 milemarker it a Desert landscape.

  • Thank you to the cruiser that emailed me the following response:

    the information that was sent to you saying the I-40 Rest Stop at Mile Marker 182 is correct and that's what should be published. Also, indeed, there is a Rest Stop on I-40 east of Flagstaff at Mile Marker 233, but most Flagstaffers go to the one that is west of Flagstaff.

    I've added this information to the listing.

  • Hey guys,

    Please help a cruiser out. I received the following email:

    "I'm confuse the direction listed is 35 miles east of flagstaff and it is a good place to meet but it not the one you have in the picture that is about 17 miles west of Fagstaff near the 182 milemarker on I-40.
    One of your comments mention going into the woods for BJ's and there are no woods at the rest area east of Flag abot the 233 milemarker it a Desert landscape
    But the rest areas west of Flag is in a forest area. , with the EB being pefer over the WB mainly for the caretaker lives in the westside of the WB rest area."

    Please EMAIL me the correct info so I can add it to the listing. I'll be happy to throw you some membership time for your efforts.
