Fairly thick wood generally, which stretches for a couple of miles. Many concealed areas. Small area around lake, with hidden nooks. Sometimes there are so many men around it, that you can end up practically having group , as I found recently, when I saw 3 more guys waiting their turn for me!

A27 from Fareham -- Titchfield Bypass -- right at filter traffic lights, onto Mill Lane. Continue on Mill Lane, under rail bridge, road now called Funtley Rd, continue. Under motorway, continue. Pass right junction, road now is Titchfield Lane. Continue about a mile to small "layby" on left, still leading into woods. Cross stile -- about 10 yards -- and take left footpath, then either 15 yards and right, amongst the woods, or 25 yards and left, up the bank, to lake area.

(You have to be logged in) Add CommentIf the small layby is full there is a much larger layby on the other side of the road about a hundred yards further north. Take care around the lake as a family group are frequently fishing there currently.
