Pretty happening during noon. Some people meet and then get off at first exit and go right. There is a little nature reserve that you can go to and have in the bushes.

Editor says: Still lost? Here you go, more directions from another cruiser: 'Just tap on your brake and move slowly down I-5. Take the Manchester exit east and turn off about 1/2mile down. There is a lagoon parking area with many outdoor spots and a public restroom area.'

In North County San Diego. Heading South on 5 towards San Diego. It's right after the Birmingham exit. Blue sign says Vista View 1/2 mile, and it's before the Manchester exit.
Cross street: Freeway 5 South

  • two points:

    1. the editor's note on location is a different location--his is the nature area down at the lagoon. Different spot, though it does make a nice place to take it to once you meet up at the rest stop off the highway.

    2. Walk or follow someone down the trail to the south, and walk down in to the bushes. Perfect spot to hook up. Don't just sit there in your car!

  • boat loads of chp pulling in here at night. Seen the CHP hassling/checking up on cars there the last few nights.
