I stopped here twice after work during my commute to take a quick smoke break. Both times I got cruised. Either I'm "lucky" or this place is very cruisy. The two MO's I observed: a guy wanders around the grassy area of the rest area and as you go back to your car, he follows. Since I wasn't hooking up I, didn't make any contact, but he got in his car and followed me for almost 40 miles, assuming I was leading him to some other spot. The other time I noticed a car parked across the lot, with its parking lights on. After my smoke, as I was walking back to my car, the car pulled up right next to mine. I wasn't crusing so I didn't make any effort to pursue it.

First rest stop in Maryland, just south of the Pennsylvania State Line, traveling south on 11/15.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Show up early evening, have a smoke by the rear picnic table.
    Cruisiest Spots: Picnic area to the rear of the visitor center.
  • Nudity / Policy:Haven't seen any.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:This kinda cruising sorta creeps me out. You don't get a good look at anyone (although both cars were very nice). I was a little freaked out that the one guy tailed me pretty aggresively -- through my efforts to shake him at the next exit, and then through a U-turn once I got back on 11/15, and then nearly 40 miles into PA. I'm a good-looking guy but I'm not that hot. I suspect there's a high level of desperation here.

  • Yesterday around 5:00pm I was lucky to be there for peep stop not for cruising or hook up, a guy has been watching me and he is tall believe he is cruising, he drove a gold color Camry wish to see him again, wish to hook up with him. I was in a Red Volvo, if you see this posting let me know.

  • Hi IMME2001, we cant see your profile, I think there is a preference you need to choose that allows us to view it. Also, the scenic overlook near Frederick on 270 is cruisy, I was there one day and got action within mins.
