Crowd: Not too many, lots of cruiser graffiti in the s. Hoping to see more trafic.

Neighbourhood: Between Old Strathcona and the river

Who's Coming

Not too many, lots of cruiser graffiti in the stalls. Hoping to see more trafic.

Drive north on 103 St from Old Strathcona and turn right at Saskatchewan Drive. Then left down the hill, then right into the park. The washroom building is just inside on the right.
Cross street: 103 St
  • Crowd:Not too many, lots of cruiser graffiti in the stalls. Hoping to see more trafic.
  • Hours:update 1/19/2009: There are signs on the doors now, open 9:00 am till DUSK
    Best times: After dark or all day on weekends during winter months.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Inner and outer doors to give warning of persons coming in.
    Cruisiest Spots: In winter in the nicely heated washroom. 2 stalls and 2 urinals,
  • Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / Paved paths and low obstical access to the building and stalls. The park is on a hill and all access is on a slope.
  • Warnings:This is a public park that will be very busy in summer. Quite quiet during winter.

    1.) Well, derrenbcuk2, who says you HAVE to let 40= yr old guys have their way with you? If you don't like what they're doing to you, then just leave. If you don't like 40 yr olds showing up at this cruising location, then I suggest you put up a sign on the door that says "No 40 yr olds (or older) allowed. Only young hot guys allowed in. By order of derrenbuck2." Yeah, that'll show 'em! That'll put them in their place!

    2.) You and HKid both have extremely ugly and lousy attitudes. Hkid is the only who, one time, wrote in a post that he absolutely HATES Poonjabs (his spelling,not mine) and (I quote) Chinks. I reported his post to the cruise Editor and his post was removed. If you have a preference for certain types of men, HKid, then we have to repsect that but there is definitely no need to use racial slurs like that (and BTW, it's spelled Punjabs, not Poonjabs). If a cruise member contacts you and you discover he's either East Indian or Asian, then you can either politely decline his offer to meet up or you can just choose not to reply to his email. No matter what course of action you choose, there is NO NEED to use derogatory racial slurs like that.

    3.) Funoncampus, I agree with you when you say there's nothing wrong with having standards. That's fine. But you need to bear in mind there's a fine line between having standards and being an ignorant racist (i.e. HKid) and/or being an ignorant a-hole (i.e. derrenbuck2).

  • Last few times I've been there I've been lucky and somebody was already waiting in the parking area behind the washrooms and they just follow me in. But normallly I wait around for 10 to 15 mins. A lot of guys drive by and don't stop if they don't see anybody parked there.
