cruiser update 3/6/2008: Instead of 20 booths, it's really 6 booths. Only one 3"x4" .

cruiser adds: "The Cave" is $5

The new place is about a month old and is still a work in progress. About 20 booths. The place looked clean and neat. The owner swears that he runs a clean establishment and I tend to believe him. Great prices on vids, mags and accessories.

Take Wake Forest Rd (also known as Highway 98) east out of Durham (away from downtown) to the intersection of Mineral Springs Road. It's not visible from the road but is located in the rear of a building behind the BP station on the lower level.

  • anybody know if they will be open thisafternoon around 2pm? (I've been there 2 or 3 times now when they were closed.)
    Also, if they are open, anyone want to meet there this afternoon?

  • Was there Monday 8/25 about 3 PM. Talked to the owner a bit. Seems that there is someone who leases space in the same shopping center that's trying to get him shut down. He said that he will fight it. But for now to be on the safe side he's had to close off the movie room in the way back and replace the wall between the two booths with the hole between them, in other words, no hole, until things blow over. I was the only one there for the hour or so. Sure hope he can stay in business.

  • Was there on Friday evening. The place was open, no dogs and quite clean. And some nice action.


    I told th owner everyone was complaining that he is never reliably opened. He apologized and said his employee had quit while he was out sick and

  • I went by tonight, Friday night about 8:30 PM, and it did not appear to be open. There were no cars in the parking lot, all lights were out, there were no signs, and all the storefronts were dark. Without any markings of any kind on any of the doors, I left. After driving an hour to get there I was disappointed that apparently it is no longer open.
