There's a small layby on the A690. Next to the Layby is an entrance into a woodland area with walkways. There are a couple of seats and plenty of bushes.

Leave A1M at Junction 62 and travle towards Sunderland on A690. A couple of miles along the road is a small layby just past West Rainton on the left and just before East Rainton on the right.
