Trail runs along the upper Sacramento river, and the rapids are loud. It works well because no one can hear you.
Crowd: Bi, maried, curious and gay guys, locals, and visiting tourists.

Take I-5 to Dunsmuir central exit, go north 1/2 mile to stone and wrought iron entrance. Name on top: Shasta Retreat. Go down road, stay to right over Scarlettway bridge. The parking area is there. Walk back over bridge, going east on left side. The end of the bridge is the forest trail, which goes along the river. There, on the long trail, are the cruising areas.

  • Crowd:Bi, maried, curious and gay guys, locals, and visiting tourists.
  • Hours:Afternoons and evenings.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Let yourself be known. A few whistles will do. Lots of brush, rocks and trees. No one can see you very well.
    Cruisiest Spots: Large boulders along river and near end of trail.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / If it's dark, you can take your clothes off and hide them in the bushes. Others do the same.

  • 4/10/Tuesday 5: p.m. saw two hotties hookup at the center of Scarlettway bridge..took trail at end of bridge north in woods/trails...WOW..followed them to the end of the trail...then lost them....they went into a house somewhere nearby.
