Lester River Falls

Although there are swimming holes at the drops on the Lester River the water is as well cold for swimming. Nonetheless, there behave area on the flat granite for sunbathing. More busy on weekends when you may come across a dozen other nudists.Facilities: The city has extended the brushed tracks better up, and closer to the river. There is already a recognizable rise in bike and foot traffic on the contrary side of the river from what was when the apparel optional location.

From Duluth head north on I-35 to terminus and onto SR-61, continue along lakeshore about 3.3 miles, turn left on 60th Ave., one block, then right on Superior for two blocks,then left onto Lester River Road for exactly 1.2 miles. Watch for small parking area on the left.
