Fantastic facility located in Downtown Detroit 2 blocks from Ford Field and Comerica Park. Locker room is huge and has totally private showers that easily fit 2 people and no really no way for others to see what's going on. No steam room. But lots of cruising pretty much anywhere in the gym.

Neighbourhood: Downtown

Located in Downtown Detroit approx. 2 blocks from Comerica Park and Ford Field. Right across the street from the Detroit Opera house. Very easy from I-75 south take the madison exit to Broadway and turn left. Cant miss.
  • Hours:Never extremely crowded. Best times are during the day. It's not open very late.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Locker room has huge, private showers. Easy for 2. Cruising occurs everywhere. Jocks, lots of students. all types.
  • Nudity / Policy:It's a gym. nude in the locker room is fine.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / I think so.
  • Warnings:It's a gym...So take the proper precautions. Make sure the straight guys are not around...LOL...

  • After going on Thursday from 10am-1pm, I don't feel like this location is cruisy at all. The gym is predominantly African American, and the members are straight as an arrow. Most of the muscular, good-looking men opted to not even take showers. The locker room does not leave much options to glance/meet by the showers. If they had a steam room, the scenario could be more feasible. Anyone who showered quickly did so and left immediately. The RenCen might be a little bit cruiser, but I looked at this facility and it also doesn't leave much room for actual cruising without getting caught.
