between W.Warren Ave. and Plymouth Rd., about 1 mile east of Telegraph.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:cruiser update 3/31/2009: Your listing says not much action goes on in the park. This not true. Nobody drives to the residential area. They go right in the woods , and oftern right in the car off to the side of the road.

    previous comment: Just strictly obey the 25mph speed limit. Those who do are 99% cruising. During the day you just have to make eye contact. Not much action in park. Most park somewhere in the surrounding residential area. Pretty safe.
    Cruisiest Spots: Changes daily. usually just driving up and down the main street through the park.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / You will see guys esp in Summer in car naked.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Lost of bugs in summer.
    Warnings: It is NOT suggested that you walk through the park at night, gay bashers have slithered in before and I have heard of a few shootings (sometimes gang related). If you stay in your car on the main drag you should be OK. No problems during the day. Cops

  • This place hit or miss which is usually the latter... too many people sitting in cars and staring for hours on end. Too many homeless tricks trying to get some money, too many old men that need to at home. I have had some fun adventures here before but too many people ruin the fun with the games and not being able to take a hint. I have no idea what is with the dude in the red HHR that will sit and stare and do nothing it just not him its quite a few others and I only come around 3-4 times a year when in town. I guess to each their own...

  • coolige south to 8 mile, 8 mile west to southfeild freeway south to I 96 west bound to outer drive turn left on outer drive and take it to the first light turn left you will come up on plymouth rd go straight across and your in the park. fyi day light hours only they give out tickets after dark i know i got one have fun play safe

    there is alot of construction goin on along the south edge of the park entrance and continues in for abit. Lots of construction guys watching.

    Driven past while on break from class to kill time, and noticed some cruisers but more importantly it seems like the area is being watched, or at least being used as a lunch place for city vehicles.

  • For all the cruisers in Rouge Park, be aware that, unknown to most persons, there is a city ordinance that prohibits anyone from being in any park after dark. This includes being in the woods, the fields, or just parked on the shoulder of the roadway.

    A friend was recently ticketed by the DPD for being in the park, after dark, even though he was just sitting in his car, alone, at dusk, just waiting to see if anyone else was out cruising. The cops didin't have the courtesy to tell him that it was after hours, and that it was time to move on, but just ticketed him, instead.

    Regardless of what time of year it is, when the sun starts going down, it's probably best to hit the road.. I'm sure it's the same case at Belle Isle, or any other park where cars can drive through.

  • Word of warning - there is a good looking guy, usually in a tank top who is real friendly, and will quickly lead you down to the river and into the back trails. He goes down on you, and then, right in the middle, asks for gas money. Seems like a trap to me.
