Large dirt parking area also a small boat ramp. Plenty of areas to cruise and even play!

Neighbourhood: Woods, old buildings for the firemen to practice on and a wlaking trail, paved.

Exit 15 off of route and go to downtown Derby take a left onto Caroline street and take it to the end under railroad bridge and over stone wall.
Cross street: Caroline Street and Route 34 (Main Street)
  • Hours:Early morning before work and lunch time, dinner time too!
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Plenty or warning from other cars approaching, driving down the hill.
    Cruisiest Spots: Park all thw ay at the end. Field on other side of trees.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Watch out for familys walking the trails at dusk and on boaters putting in at ramp.

  • This was never a good area to meet someone for fun. I've parked down there about 50+ times to jog on the Greenway Path and have never once seen anyone cruising. Just in case though...BEWARE. The has been alot of vandalism down in this area recently and the city has installed, as of March 2008 several video cameras that patrol the area, especially the parking lot!!
