I just wanted to thank Blacktopwith8 for the infomitive commentd. Such detail (gained by time/exposure) is seldom seen.

Is this place still active even though there's snow? Any tips to hook up for a good time without getting in trouble with Denver cops in Cheesman Park?

The deal on CP:

South side (E. 8th/Williams) you'll find some sitting in cars, and often a fair number of womYn.

Nothside (E.13th/Gilpin) you'll find some hustlers (often way drugged out looking and acting), and "thug" types who aren't about the gay thing in the least, they are drinking and sleeping.

Eastside (E.12th) sometimes there are fellas aimlessly walking this side. The parthanon sits at the "head" of the east side. great views of downtown and the mountains. If you like to chat up a trick- here's the place. Evenings- quite a bit of rooting around in the wooded areas.

Westside (E.9th and 12th) This is "beahy" in one area while closer to 12th I like to call "Bear Valley"- scads of bear type fellas haning out and talking.

If you are in to the drug scence- Cheeseman is an excellent place to get ARRESTED- clearly the police (as they should) have cracked down and it is not unusual to see a fella backed into a cruiser.

Youth and the aged mix here- and pretty well. Some of the aged are leering while the young flit around to wild music coming from their car steroes.

Then there are the nice families, and str8 folks (real str8 folks) who come to the park and enjoy sunny days.

One Gate in the CITY

Today Sunday 14, October,I went walking in the Park, and have not tooled through in ages.
Was amazed, at the lack of people.
It has become a Ghost Town compared to years past.
Memories!
The beach once was the place to be an be seen,and the East side still yeilds some amazing hookups.
I met an old friend I had not seen in 4 years.
No longer the youth he was yet his mind, body, an sole is still very much in step with the youth of today.

Once becoming a student of the oldest art, now just a broken young man(27).

I talked with my friend, about his life and his life on the streets of Denver.
In the Winter of 2005 he was stabbed twice, beatin by a cop once, and shoved down a flight of stairs by some gay bashers.
It was not a ploy for marking me to beg for a hand out.
Instead I turned the tables on him and gave him more than just strong advice.

I made him show me where the crimes were committed, and helped him file a formal complaint against the aledged cop

This place ought to be awesome. I'll drive around it tomorrow in my miniskirt at noon showing hard. Hope someone looks in the window!
