Mostly young Indonesian men are just hanging around or talking to each other...hoping a westerner or foreigner might come by. About half can speak passable English. While most have the traditional Asian shyness, if you are outgoing you should be able to establish raport. Some of the locals may go for quick (not in the park), others may want to make a date. The majority of Balinese men that I met there are not prostitutes, they just want adventures.
