Place is a very clean with an upbeat atmosphere, Carol the owner wants to do it up again. Club will be closed second week of February, she want to do a remodel, should be better than ever when it reopens the next week.

It's a quiet and so far safe area. Lots of parking in the back and along the side
Crowd: Mixed crowd, young through older, very good mix of gay, bi and lez lots of fun. Younger looking for Daddies. Good young action.

From I95 take the LPGA Blvd exit then take a right onto Nova Rd. Rumors is 2 blocks down on the right. From I95 taking the International Speedway Blvd exit take a left at Nova Road go north and it 4 blocks on the left after you pass Mason St.
Cross street: Rumors is located 2 blocks south of LPGA Blvd. Going south it is on the right. Tthere is also a liquor store in an adjacent building.
  • Crowd:Mixed crowd, young through older, very good mix of gay, bi and lez lots of fun. Younger looking for Daddies. Good young action.
  • Hours:12 noon till 2am.
    Best times: Best time is after 8pm. Live drag shows start after 9pm they are very good.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Introduce yourself or buy someone a drink, you'll find more action than you can handle.
    Cruisiest Spots: Far corner of bar and tables next to dance floor.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / Handicap access and ramps on each side of the front door. But I've never seen them used.

  • Used to be like Cheers, everyone friendly and having a good time. Lots of really nice people. Old saying of drug dealers: never use your product. Owner drank, got greedy. Rather than fixing the parking lot that was full of ruts and holes, she redecorates the place from "funky neighborhood bar" to "sleezy New York style clip joint". Everyone left in a hurry. Too bad, was always a lot of fun. Every holiday was a party and once a year had "Miss Gay Daytona Beach" contest. Really a good show, as was the crossdresser/TV/drag shows every Fri. and Sat. I was there all during the downturn and did my thesis for my M.B.A. from Embry Riddle on how to take a going concern and make it a zero. So thanks, Rumors. Nothing in Daytona has taken its place. Too bad. Streamline hotel really sleezy. Rumors was the best gay/straight/in between place I've ever been to. Really is a shame that it's gone.

  • is this place busy around happy hour? I will be racing in daytona this coming weekend and wanted to stop by and see if there are any over 55 men here!

  • Great place. My wife took me there to find a "surprise" for me last year. Everyone was super nice and the MC even talked to us for awhile. Definately going back while were there this year and hope to have a "really" good time.
