A666 - Between Darwen and Bolton
cruiser update : Been informed today (20th May 2009) a proposal is going through the council to CLOSE this set of lay-byes permanently. A consultation would have to take place to do this - if so people should complain about this loss of rest area.
Really good area, although, as mentioned. Police are rather active.
Crowd: Anyone looking to "get off". Though, beware, Police in the east Lancs area are tightening up on cruising.

From Darwen, follow the A666 to Bolton. About a third of the way there, you'll see a right turn, on a sharp bend.
Cross street: Arriving from Darwen, it is on the right, on a bend.
