All ages, mostly white males and some hispanics...
Get off I-17 onto exit 333 (Walnut Ave) and turn west; you'll pass the convention center to your right. Continue a little ways, about 3/4 of a mile and there will be a parking pull-off to you right leading into a wooded park with a sign in the front that say, "Dug Gap Battle Park."

Cruisiest Spots: You'll have to enter the park walking up a steep paved road; keep walking straight until you reach the edge of the mountain. Action sometimes observed by outraged straights with cell phones who call cops. They show up and question everyone, hassel, write down tag numbers and go away. Be careful.

Since Dug Gap is out of commision these days, why don't we all check out Fort Mountain or Carters Lake area. It might be a little drive, but probably plenty of good places.

There is a reason for cameras near cell towers.....
Cell towers in Charlotte, North Carolina have been the target of theft, putting Cingular and Verizon customers at risk of losing service. The copper bars which are installed on the towers to prevent lightening damage are being stolen because of the high market value of copper. The bars can be worth up to $3.00 a pound, giving the theives enough incentive to remove the bars so they can be recycled for cash.
