From W Cuthbert Blvd turn right(west) onto Lakeshore Dr. Park anywhere before Beetlewood Ave. Walk over the bridge and around to the south side of Newton Lake on the paved path. Beyond the benches look for any number of trails off to the right into the woods.
Cross street: Bettlewood Ave & Lakeshore Dr
  • Crowd:Mixed. From college aged guys and up.
  • Hours:Mid mornings and evenings before dusk have been "fruitful".
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Keep a low profile while heading up the trail. There are lots of joggers, fishers, and families around the lake itself. Have never seen any up and off the trails. Met up with a local firefighter there once (out of uniform) only to see him at the station days later - what a nice suprise!
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Mosquitoes can be bad throughout this area!
    Warnings: Be discreet - this is smalltown USA area. Outlandish, loud activities, or littering will bring this to the attention of the police. Let's keep this one a cool place guys!
