Who's Coming

Take I-595 west to I-75 North (Naples) - Travel approximately 43 miles. Take Exit #49 and turn right on Snake Road/CR 833 - Travel 24.8 miles. Turn right onto CR 835 towards Clewiston - Travel 8.5 miles.If you are coming from The Ft Lauderdale area for the first time take I-595 but turn on to Hwy 27 North. The first 42 miles is boring but it is a fast 4 lane Hwy. the first town you will come to will be South bay ,maybe 7 blocks long,the next town is Clewiston, but just before you get into Clewiston you want to turn left onto hwy 835. You will only need to go about 22 miles on this rd. You will only make 4 turns and after you make the 4th turn you will go down maybe 7 more miles S. and you will see that the electrical and phone poles switch from the right side to the left .Count down 7 poles on the left side and you will be at the entrance rd., and you will see a very small sign Vitambi springs on the right ,follow this road to the main lodge maybe 5 blocks.Going the the other way by Snake Rd.(hwy 833) is only a single lane and speed limit is only 45 ,until you get onto the Seminole Indian Land and then the speed limit is only 25 miles and they will be watching your speed. You must also be watching for the turn off to the right once you are North of the Indian land to get onto 835. Take Hwy 27 the first time and then when you leave try taking the other way South Thru the Indian land but watch your speed. Also you might want to stop and see the Seminole Indian museum ,it is very nice.Turn right into the Vitambi Springs Entrance. The sign along the road is small and hard to see, after turning off the road follow the paved road back to the clubhouse.
