cruiser Update 6/9/2008: The Z109 owners have moved the bar to Ulmerton and 66th Street and have renamed it as the Christopher Street Bar. Sits in the plaza by Arby's Nice enjoyable atmosphere.

  • I find the bar cliquish, the bartenders unresponsive. The gossiping and back biting amuzing. I would not recommend the bar. Sorry.

  • Z109 used to be a great gay bar it is now called the Roosevelt Bar & Dance Club and it is totally STRAIGHT

  • Yes, she will be fine. Actually on the weekends they have drag shows in addition to the dancers. The clientele is mostly gay men but women are welcome.

  • Haven't been in a while, but it almost always seemed to have a good group of TV patrons. Last time I went there were more dressed in the audience than in the show. Weeknights were weak, but weekends it was hopping. Hope to go back soon.
