Steam Room has double doors, so you usually get good warning when someone is coming in. Showers are oppoiste each other, so you can get a nice view of the across from your shower.
Crowd: Young, middle-age, old, fit, fat, in shape. I've seen it all.
Facilities: Great gym, with great steam/sauna/shower area

Close to red line stop -- Grand and State. One block east and one block south from Red Line exit at Grand and State.
Cross street: Wabash and Hubbard

    Facilities: Great gym, with great steam/sauna/shower area
  • Hours:Monday - Friday 5:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.
    Saturday - Sunday 6:45 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
    Best times: Most anytime. I've had luck there at all hours of the day. Late afternoons, early evenings, and late evenings are probably best.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:You'll know who's cruising. Usually guys in and out of the steam room or sauna a few times.
    Cruisiest Spots: The Steam Room, Sauna, Showers
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:As always, use discretion. If someone isn't interested, move on, or stay clear for a while -- don't be a blocker.

  • I am very much looking forward to my visit to Chicago 11-26 thru 28th--staying at the Fairmont and hit the gym regularly. Me, 180#, 5'11", drk brn hair, grn/brn eyes, clean cut, hairy chest/abs., 44c,34w, 7.0 cut esp. thick--always enjoy loosening up after pumping iron thru the showers and the steam room. I don't think it can get too hot for me in there., or can it?? See ya soon!

  • I was working out here while the Gay Games were in town. This LSAC hosted the racquet ball event. When I finished my workout, one of the teams was in the steam room, hot tub, and sauna. And of course, it was A LOT fun.
