The park has two cruisy areas. During the day, cross the bridge on the east side of Kedzie to area opposite the golf course.
After dark, use the bridge opposite the out house to cross to the 'island'.

7100 S. Kedzie Avenue & 71st Street W. Use the south entrance to park.

cruiser adds 3/18/2009: Go South on Kedzie to the southeast side of the park walk south on the outside of the park then cross the first bridge. You will see a huge golf couse in the middle of the island. Then turn right you will see woods with a bunch of trees get closer to the golf walk into there and that is were most of the crusing goes on. You could walk around all around the island which goes around the golf course there are ALOT of other places that you can sneak off to and play but the woods as I described to you are the best place. If there is nobody in the woods when you get there walk back outside and stand next to the fence of the golf course and you will see if anybody is coming from either direction that is also a sign that you are crusing. I have had lots of fun after dark. It does get DARK at night there so if you arent afraid of the dark you will have LOTS of fun. Be patient to do got for five minutes and leaves guys will !!! :

  • Haven't been there, but I've got a question: how safe is it there?

    I'm guessing Marquette Park is pretty much insulated from the dangerous neighborhoods to the east? Is that a safe assumption?

    And what kind of guys do you get there?

    This sounds excellent . . . . I'm gonna have to check it out.

  • Hey xtraray it would be harder in the winter here because all the leaves fall off the tree and they already closed the restrooms back in September. But some other parks have fieldhouses or restrooms that are open year round. This park however most of the cruising goes on in the woods etc.

  • I just got into cruising this summer and i;m like totally addicted to it now. what do guys do in the winter though??? i'm worried that i wont be able to get any! i've onlly been cruising in the parks. do guys still cruise here in the winter? are there any parks where that stay active? it seems like its already slowing down.
