But the best thing is that there is a window in the front, by the door where you can watch the parking lot to see who comes. it's a good spot for weekdays - on the weekends this county park charges admission, and is full of families recreating.

South on Tryon/49 from 485 about 7 miles towards SC on right. Its before Buster Boyd Bridge into SC. Drive down to picnic area towards restrooms there are glory holes there in the works.

  • Havn't cruised this spot but now that I know about it I will check it out, I'm out that way a good bit by boat with stabbin cabin if anyone interested in meeting out there or near by. Weekends are usally better for me to meet.

  • I go running on the trails here pretty much every day and haven't seen any cruising. Lots of park police patrolling, and even walking the trails deep in the woods. Weekends are packed with families. I haven't been in the bathrooms so I can't say what goes on in them.

  • This place seems very safe. Very quiet. mens room has a deadbolt and a window looking out to the parking lot. Never met anyone there, but i think it would workout.....anyone want to try?

  • Was there yesterday aftenoon. What a beautiful park! Saw a couple of guys who were cruising. Didn't get into any trouble though. It's such a long drive from uptown! I wish there were somewhere closer!
