The beat is in a large area of dense and beautiful bushland beside a Rest Area. There is a toilet block, picnic area, and plenty of parking. The place is (over) lit all night. There is a high chain-mail fence between the car park and the bush.

The Rest Area is about midway between Sydney and Newcastle that is about 80 Km. north of Sydney.Follow the 'Rest Area ' signs at the Ourimbah Interchange

  • Hours:Best late afternoons or weekends.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:he fence has reduced cruising action by 90% but there are still men trying to make the place work. There is a NEW ENTRY TO THE BUSH at the SOUTHERN end of the fence where it takes a right turn into the bush and stops about 15 metres in. This is not well known at present , I suggest you explore the new set up, then hang out opposite the toilet block until you make contact when you can proceed to the bush.
    Cruisiest Spots: Around toilets or picnic tables opposite.
  • Nudity / Policy:Not common here in the past, though the occasional bare arse has been appreciated. Privacy provided by the new fence may encourage more of this desirable activity. Mosquitoes will be influential in summer.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Not for chairs,but OK for sticks and crutches.
  • Warnings:I have never seen or experienced any aggression, threats or violence here in the last 5 years; which is not a claim it has never occurred.
