The usual way to get to this beach is to park in Pearl Beach and walk around the peninsular to the west. The first photo shows Pearl Beach , the peninsular and Flathead Beach beyond it.

- Cruising Info/ Tips:Parking is scarce in Pearl Beach, especially on sunny summer days, you may wish to try the entry via the Great Northern Walk which crosses Patonga Road about half way between pearl Beach and Patonga where there is a sign pointing to Warra Trig, see photo. About 1.5 km along an unsealed track is a small parking area, from here you walk down to the beach. See photos.

Flathead is remote, water in any creeks crossing it may be unsafe, take plenty. Please also take a garbage bag and carry out EVERYTHING you carry in, plus some of what others are bound to have left behind them,LETS KEEP THIS PLACE BEAUTIFUL.
Flathead is beside a very large area of bush infamous for fires.A bushfire could trap you on the beach. Be aware of the forecasts and take your phone. - Nudity / Policy:Yes / Good beach and rock pools... no problem staying nude all day..
