Plenty of vegetation for cover all over the place. In-car action is possible during the day when the park isn't busy, but it really fills up fast after work on nice days (boaters-jet skiers). This place has replaced Shaver as the cruise spot in CR, and it's drawing guys from a large area. Lots of young guys cruising around in there in the afternoons. Some are just looking for a quick blow, others are looking for more.
Crowd: Wide variety of guys, but generally teen/college age action. Some middle- aged/professional types during noon hour and after work.

J Ave NE, west of Wenig Road -- follow the railroad tracks/river and you can't miss it.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:This is a car cruising venue. Watch for guys alone and do the brake light thing to make contact.
    Cruisiest Spots: Main lot by the pavillion is okay, but often busy with straight boaters. North parking lot is good, and the island is good too.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Roads get pretty muddy after a rain and that slows the action down. Don't get caught there after 10 pm -- closing time.
