the way to get there is to take the Autopista San Juan to Ponce (I-52) and the entrance to Monumento al Jibaro is right off the highway (about 50km from San Juan). If travelling in the opposite directon (Ponce to San Juan), there is also a rest area across from the Monumento al Jibaro. It is also very cruisy at night
