The landscape vegetation is typical high-desert. The river sometimes floods in the Spring, leaving lots of sandy beach areas. Lots of paths and secluded areas for sucking or activity. The Nevada bois are always and looking for a good release.

15 miles east of Highway 395 on Highway 50. The Park entrance is on the south side of the Highway and has a Dayton State Park sign at the entrance.

- Hours:24 hours. it costs $4 to get into the park and $14 if your camping
Best times: Anytime but the sunbathers and swimmers tend to be hanging in the afternoon and the cruisy party types at dusk and after.
Dates open: Open year round. - Cruising Info/ Tips:The usual park cruising of showing interest, fondling your crotch with eye contact.
Cruisiest Spots: The whole park has potential, but the area along the Carson River tends to be favored. There is an area on the north side of the highway connected to the main park by a tunnel under the highway that would be perfect for developing into a hot spot. It's the old Rock Ridge Mill site and has incredible "off-the-beaten-path" potential and is only checked by the cruisy park custodian. - Nudity / Policy:Yes / It is best to show descretion and Find a private spot as it is a state park and nudity is not officially approved.

Warnings: There is a uniformed park custodian between 8 AM and 5 PM, but tends to look away and might even be sport for action in a secluded spot.
