Higbee

Take the GSP almost to the southernmost end - almost Mile Marker "0" .At that point look for a sign for Route-109N - It might also have a sign showing that it is the way to the Cape May Lewes Ferry (CMLF). When you see it, make a slight right on to ROUTE 109 N . Follow Route 109N toward the CMLF maybe a mile or so - then you will have to be in the right lane and kinda go around a jug handle to the right to go across onto Sandman Blvd. (still heading to the CMLF).
Continuing straight onto Sandman Blvd. till you come to a traffic light. That will be SEASHORE ROAD also marked as Route 162. You will want to be in the LEFT LANE before you get to the traffic light so you can make a LEFT TURN onto SEASHORE ROAD. Proceed on SEASHORE ROAD over the big bridge that goes over the Cape May Canal. As soon as you cross the bridge, on the right you will see a sign for Higbee Beach.
Make a RIGHT TURN IMMEDIATELY OFF OF THE END OF THE BRIDGE and continue onto SEASHORE ROAD which a little further down turns into NEW ENGLAND ROAD. Take NEW ENGLAND ROAD to the very END. At the VERY END you will see a parking lot toward the left. Go into that parking lot and park.After you park, get your things. At the far end of the parking lot there are two paths - one toward the left (smaller one) the other toward the right (bigger one) - you can use either path to get to the beach. The one on the right is wider, easier, but when you get on to the beach it is a slightly longer walk to the nude and gay beachs. If you take the smaller path on the left it brings you out closer to the nude and gay beach. Once you reach the beach GO LEFT till you see some people sitting nude - YOU"VE ARRIVED!

  Warnings: Police and Fish & Game are currently not a problem if you are cool. If you see somebody coming let others know and continue what you were doing after they pass. There are family beaches at either far ends of Higbee Beach - one by the CML Ferry and the other by the concrete ship - so, when a family is walking down the beach, just cover up. Also pay attention to boaters who pass by for the same reasons. Otherwise it is nude and whatever as usual.
