Strangles Beach

From Bude take the A39 south for approx 8 miles turning right on to B3263 to Boscatle. Take the third turning to the right (approx 2 miles) signed Hill Cliff & Crackington Haven. Follow the lane for approx 1.5 miles decending most of the time. Just before you get to Trevege Farm you will find a layby on the right & a pedestrian gate opposite signed Strangles. Follow path to coastal path taking the path to the left down to the beach. It is a very long way down with a ladder steps at the bottom. On the beach turn right and head for rocks at the end. After climbing over these rocks you will find a beautiful secluded beach with further rocks on the other side.

• Hours:When sunny with off-shore wide best. From 11am - 6pm. But check on Tide times.
• Cruising Info/ Tips:On the north side of the beach - plenty of room to explore wildlife in the rock pools and view naked guys sunbathing. Just ask anyone to help rub suncream into those difficult to reach areas. That usually does the trick!
• Nudity / Policy:This is a NT beach and officially nudity not allowed. - But this beach is a long way from anyone and generally families do not use it.
• Wheelchair Accessible:No / Definately NO
• Warnings:Watch out for the Tides and the cliff path down & up is steep it takes about 30 mins to walk from the car to the beach.
