Traditional-style pub, long and thin, with plenty of seating. Good value-for-money food weekday lunchtimes (when its mainly the office str8 crowds; although a few bat for our side!!)
Fab enclosed beer garden at the rear, as is a good size conservatory.
Staff here are some of the best you could wish for; all make you feel very welcome, and landlord Chris has built up a loyal trade for several years.
Crowd: Mixed crowd of young and older, and very popular with bears and fetish guys and their admirers (particularly Sats!!!)

By road; coming off the M32, take a left at the VERY END of the motorway, and follow the signs for the A420 (Chippenham)at the next big interchange (up the slip-road to the lights, bear left and on the left app 200 yards)By rail; from Temple Meads Station, go out the main exit, down the slope, bear right and str8 over the busy roundabout (into Temple Way). Ahead you will see a busy road interchange (A420) Turn right off there and the Pub is opp side of roadCross street: Bond Street and Temple Way

- Hours:Open till 2am Fri/Sat nights.Best times: Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:No where ideal to go in the pub, but ideal for those living locally, or if not local, the all night (fridays and saturdays!!) Cottage Sauna is 2 mins away! ;-) Cruisiest Spots: Between Bar and loos!!!
- Nudity / Policy:Mixed lunchtimes/mainly gay men evenings
- Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / Small step but very easy with a little help.
- Warnings:Rarely extends past normal opening hours (although 2 late-opening clubs are 2 mins away!)
