update 2/26/2009: there has been a lot of council activity and many of the walkways have been completely stripped of vegetation and trees. There are still a few places in the undergrowth to use although these have been trimmed to. The Temple itself is still open for business, but looks like its up again for redevelopment as a "For Sale" sign has appeared.

  • Hours:Anytime on sunny days (but watch out for straights wandering through). From evenings onwards its almost exclusively gay.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Check put the paths through the bushes and the stone "Temple". Dont forget the arches further along the seafront.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Yes but be discrete in daylight. An easy walk to/from the the nude beach 100 yds away.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Occasional gay bashers late at night - be aware. Police patrol occsaionally - not targeting gays but gay bashers. They dont usually eneter the crusing areas but best not to get caught with your pants down.
