(You have to be logged in) Add CommentThis park is heavily visited by families all day long and every day of the week. It was never a favorite cruising spot because of that, and with the bad economy more families are attending.
You need to exercise heavy caution at this place trying to cruise. There have been arrests here, as the area is monitored by law enforcement and park personnel.

lots of activity 9 to 4,
very quiet and safe 6 to 9AM
also quiet and safe 7-9 in the evening.

This is the oldest and biggest public park in Bradenton, but only the locals seem to know and use it. Lots of on foot, and bicycle cruising.
gets active after 4 PM, but a good time is early before 9AM.
There are cummings and goings all day --good place to meet and make other arrangements.

best activity on north end where the restrooms, and dog walk area are. not main recreational area football, baseball, pool area.
