South Skyway Bridge Fishing Pier
The fishing pier itself used to be the "Old Skyway Bridge" you drive your car onto the pier/bridge and park where you want to fish. Just get out of your car and throw your line in.

Coming from St Pete cross over the Skyway Bridge get off and follow the fishing pier signs. It does cost a couple of bucks even if you dont fish. Coming from Bradenton/Sarasota, prior to getting on the actual bridge bare to the right (rest area/ fishing pier). Follow the signs.

- Hours:During sunset to after dark. It is "Pitch Black".
Best times: Sunset to the AM, park your car on the pier itself, throw a line in and sit and wait. Park where you are by yourself. You can get some action in your car or theirs. Total darkness, can't see a thing.
You must apppear to be fishing.
Dates open: 24hrs - Cruising Info/ Tips:Along the side, the pier is about 4 miles long. Park anywhere tap brakelights.
