A double miracle - went twice last week and both clerks gave me the correct number of tokemns. Maybe the owner started reading this site???

Not that it did me any good - no cute guys though iI hung around for an hour each time. Won't somebody in the DC metro area start some place travelers can go and have a good time????

It is the fat old black clerk that is doing that. He shorted me twice on sunday, and if you call him on it, he threatens to throw you out. I guess it is his own personal stimulus package to steal from the customers. I won't be going back. I will continue to go to the Lovecraft in Laurel. Ten times better there, and they don't steal from you.

This place is creepy. Doors falling off hinges. Dirty. Lots of guys just standing around. And $5.00 min now and only get $4.00 tokens.

Was there a few nights ago. Pretty much same old thing. Seedy types, filthy, not much going on, TV sets in poor shape.

I'm posting here in hopes of bumping this up the list and finding out if anyone has visited this place since the rebranding to LoveCraft.

The old management was apparently not too popular with the neighbors, reported as consistently short changing the patrons and not too keen on cleanliness.

Anyone have an update?

I drove by this weekend and noticed it's been rebranded as a Love Craft store now. I haven't been inside to see what (if any) changes have occurred. Hopefully a good scrubbing, some equipment repairs and this could be worth patronizing.

What's up with the sign in front of the store indicating that the police are recording all license plates that enter the store's premises?? Is there trouble brewing??

was there a couple of weeks ago and place was slow. as usual got shorted in tokens. the older side movies either had black screen or was out of focus. the other side half of the movies were on the intro chapter of the dvd. also the employees smoke in there so you smell like cigarettes when you leave i dont smoke so i hate the smell of cigarettes.

Stopped in today and the GH are no longer covered. Not many customers, however. Wonder if they'll get their business back.

Stopped in last week - looks like minimum is $5 instead of $3. I was counting my tokens as I walked away and the guy who waited on me (heavy guy, beard) said something - sounded like he was a little insulted that I would check.

Had a pretty good time, too!

Are trannies allowed in here?

Or better yet, do any other trannies ever go to this place?

It is a filthy place. I've never counted the tokens so if I do get ripped off for a buck, who cares? Look at it as a $3 admission charge. It's not as if I've eveer heard about them tossing folks for not dropping tokens.

While I've seen one MONSTER black anaconda come slithering through the hole in the wall, all in all I've found it dissapointing more often than not.

My pet peeve - the hustlers hitting you up for a few dollars once you're back in the booths.

Wayne's quitting doesn't resolve the issues about drug dealing and regulars holding up the walls...

the black queen clerk is illegally and wrongfully over charging patrons $5.00 instead of the Love Craft store chain policy of just $3.00 in tokens to enter and you can stay as long as you want to! this former 24-7 regular ho queen with a bad, nasty, rude attitude and swollen head power trip must be FIRED now!

If these abs do not respect and protect their patrons who pay their income, SOMEONE WILL DEFINITELY OPEN ABS to compete and close these awful Love Craft down and out of business with this ridiculous bs!

Thanks goodlooking607 for the heads up! That black queen clerk formerly 24-7 patron is the one who shorted me the tokens I wrote about a couple weeks ago. He always did have an attitude, even when cruising. I hate nasty people. He should remember that what goes around comes around...

I stopped by last night. Became very irrate and frustrated after holding up the walls for several hours. So I left. Proceeded to stand out front on the street where I was able to sell some drugs. Then, I got in my stolen car and drove to the pizza parlor down the block and held it up at gunpoint.

I got home and realized the attendant from the adult bookstore had shorted me a few tokens. Enraged, I began to beat up on my transexual wife/girlfriend. She/he called 911.

Now I'm in jail where I am posting this warning to others to stay away.

Tempin LA: I agree completely. I could have written your post myself. It's always full of African Americans holding up the walls and having their social hour. As a pragmatic/realist, I feel it's better to have them in the arcades doing nothing then to have them home beating up their wives/girlfriends or on the streets selling drugs, robbing pizza parlors, stealing cars, or other sundry activities...

So why are the holes covered up?

Experience has shown me that the first handful of tokens you purchase each time is a test � a moment of truth. Unless you are one of the savvy guys like me who stands there and counts every token calmly right in front of them before you walk away - then you should know that you are definitely getting ripped off - first time and every other time you come back to the window.

Whenever I walk into the store and buy my first handful of tokens before I leave the window I count them � very slowly and deliberately � shamelessly - TWICE - right in front of the cashier who watches wide-eyed every move I make as if I am demonstrating how to carefully count tokens for an audience of morons. And sure enough � there are always fewer tokens than I paid for in that first handful. The bigger the purchase the bigger the rip-off they can take from you without it being missed � or so they hope.

Counting that first handful shows the thieves that I do not trust them, and furthermore, I am not ashamed for not trusting them. It shows them that I will not be an easy mark � but it shows them without accusing or confronting them because I know you can't win that fight. You are not going to call the police to report these thieves like you might in any other store and they know it. Right?

Once they note that you check your tokens they will fear getting caught again and be less likely to try to rip you off again that same day. But I am not saying you don�t need to count your tokens every time or that they won't try to rip you off later in the day again because sometimes they do - especially the woman. She is far more bold and aggressive and nasty than the fat guy. I've seen her act up defensively (offensively) loudly to divert the issue away from herself and the fact that she has just been caught stealing and I've seen her savagely order the victim to leave the store - even though it is she acting aggressive because she has been caught dead to rights - not for anything inappropriate the customer said or did. But it is her turf and so she can steal and get caught and bully customers and there are no consequences or deterrents and that�s just the way it works in a porno store. I find it impossible to believe that the porno store owner does not have adequate street sense to see what is going on or would allow this ongoing stealing to remain rampant so something else must be going on beyond the front end cashiers.

At any rate, everyone already knows or should know by now that the cashiers are thieves and will steal from you every time if don�t count your tokens. I read here a while ago that the employees are family members related to the owner. Perhaps that might explain why the thieves are still working there with impunity. For myself, now that I know what to watch for and how to deal with it � it�s not a problem for me anymore. I had a really good time there today.

I wonder how long it'll take for them to open up those GH again. I'd guess they'll be out of business in a month or two if they don't.

went yesterday afternoon and didnt have a good experience. the fat white man shorted me tokens didnt care though hoped to be in and out. went to newer side and over half of movies aint work ll glory holes were filled. other side was freezing cold a little bit more than half worked. a lot of standing around but i guess they had to because nothing was good on tv. i think im stick with arbutus. been to laurel one a couple times but only caught action 1 time.

Stopped by tonight around 7:30pm and all of the glory holes on both sides of the arcade were covered by wood patches. What a bummer.
