All car and outdoor action. During the summer, guys will take a walk down the trail and hook up in the bushes once out of view of the parking area.
Crowd: All types, but mostly commuters and delivery guys.

It is the vista point of Interstate 280, south of highway 92 in San Mateo County.

  • Hours:Pretty much all day and night (until gates close).
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Park and watch the action. If you like what you see, entice him into the bushes or take a walk down the path at the bottom of the hill.
    Cruisiest Spots: In the 3 main parking areas.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:A lot of parking lot lizards.
    Warnings: Frequented by straight folk (for the views)and CHP.

  • Sorry, I got confused with the Father Junipero Serra Rest Stop - my comments above refer to that site not this--apologies for the confusion. This site, I assume, is the vista point on the west side of 280.

  • Correct, this now has three listings. One of the reasons there hasn't been a recent posting is that this site has been plagued by entrapments, sheriff activity, etc. It never fully recovered from the stings of several years ago when they posted names and pictures locally. I'd be very very careful if you plan to visit.
