Probably the best sauna in Belem. Not quite up to European or American standards but atmosphere is friendly. Steamroom, sauna, video room, showers, cabins, massage parlour. 15 Brazilian Reais fee. And on Thursdays fee is only 7 Reais for guys "bem dotados = acima de 18cm" (ie with an over 7-inch or 'pinto' as they say in Brazil). Now how they check this I don't know! Worth a try and had quite some fun on my last visit there in January 2009.

Buses 323 - 328 - 318 (Marex-Arsenal). If you take bus from Praca da Republica to Rodoviaria, get off (ie off the bus) at second stop after the Nazare Cathedral bustop and it's an easy walk to the sauna. Situated in safe and fairly posh area.
