take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 14A. Proceed straight out of the toll plaza down Avenue E, make a right at 48th Street, and go four blocks to the north entrance of the park. Alternate route: Route 46 East to Grand Ave. Exit. Make a right at the light. Follow Grand Ave. and it will turn into 1 & 9 which turns into Tunnelly to North Bergen. At the 79th street light make a left. Go to the top of the hill and make a left onto Kennedy Blvd. Make a quick right still on 79th Street. Continue to Bergenline Ave. At the traffic light you will see James Braddick Park. Pull in the park and stay to your right to the stop sign. Circle halfway around then straight. Tennis Courts will be on you right and Baseball field will be on you left.
Cross street: 48th Street
  • Crowd:Guys playing baseball / joggers/ daddies college/men in early 20s to 30s, few if any older
  • Hours:11 am -- 6 pm M-F; Saturday -Sunday hot all during the day !
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Cops cruise the area. Just don't make a day of it. Park in the lots. This place has 3 restrooms one on Blvd is small but not used a lot. Hot scenes have happened here.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Park just became a police sub-station . But cops do not stop in the restrooms that often! (Ed. How often?)

  • I have cruised Bayonne Park and about 70% of the time I got lucky with men 20's to upper 40"s. Clue observe the door when it is shut all the way!!!

  • I sometimes park in the lot near the restrooms uptown. There are guys that come there to find action but it's hard to determine who is who

  • hey i've been jogging down the park for a few weeks and have seen guys in cars alone. haven't tried anything, but guess this place is still a hot spot. anyone here go?
