Black Dam Ponds-Crabtree
Black Dam Ponds is a 'family' location, so don't even think about going there in the daytime. Through the subway (under the M3) there is a large expanse of woodland which goes right up to Crabtree Plantation on the A30 in Old Basing/Hatch. There is also a car park at the Crabtree end, but this is much more popular with straight couples and dog walkers. Not as good as Popham, but getting better.
