cruiser update 2/25/2008: There have been several "strategic" fires in this area during the past six months, so a lot of the coverage has been destroyed. Also, the police not only cruise the parking lot but also are riding police dirtbikes in and around the area. Suggest that you be careful here and better to go some place private. Of course, that's what the police would prefer, so i guess everyone is happy that way. watch for the bush "stinging neddle" - similar to poison ivy/oak but less severe

Hi guys I agree that more guys need to bring there trash back to the lot and thro it in the cans! i still go here i feel safe going here! i dont go to bars so this is the only place in 19 yrs i have been able to find in bako to hook up in bako and feel safe yes you have to bee causous of whats going on! but same guys come here and you get to know there cars and faces and get repeat hook ups alot and togather can watch out for us togather coming by 1 time you will know nothing whats going on.

RE: kman4u's comment: Are you sure these weren't the little boy hookers that are always hanging out there chatting it up with the older gentlemen???? I've never gone there to play, I just go there to jog or bike ride, but I see them there all the time in swarms.

From what I'm reading, this definitely sounds like a place to AVOID! Appears to be classic entrapment techniques. Funny, isn't it, while other cities are going bankrupt and cutting services, B'field had ths (man)power/resources to devote to such uncrucial activities. I have to take pity on those who are assigned to skulk around like this only to entrap (and in some cases subsequently destroy the lives of) relatively harmless individuals when they could be hanging around convenience stores and other locations protecting us from real thugs. I often wonder if they go home and tell their families what they really did at work!

I and a friend, who had parked under a tree just off paved parking area, were talking etc and as I jumped out of his pickup back, where it was shady and cool, the police Bako style drove up. They wanted our dr lic and reason for being there...we said cool. They ticketed my friend for parking off parking lot in a park!!! sure...Those devils will do anything they want. All they really had to do was ask him to please put his pu back on the parking lot. But they wanted to know what we had been doing...sure, the big $1500.00 lewd conduct etc ticket. Watch out...cops are there It was about 6pm or so...
