A1068 Coastal Road, near Morpeth. From the north, turn left at Widdrington roundabout, past pub. Continue for about 2 miles, past a farm. Car park on left at a sharp bend; drive down track right to the end and park. Walk north along dunes or wait in car. Alternative spot: about 2 miles further north towards Amble, opposite a turning to Red Row, turn towards the sea along a poorly made tarmac track for about 1 mile. Dead end. Park and wait or wander. Quite remote. Action in dunes.
