Hours:Anytime during peak season. During off season you may find the hours more unreliable. Best times: Mornings or evenings work, but travelers can be there anytime.
Cruising Info/ Tips:Wait in your car or sit near the washroom. They are almost never checked by park rangers. The trails are well kept in peak season and hardly used. Cruisiest Spots: The shower near swimming access is the most popular but really anyplace is good. If trails are your thing and you want to get away to privacy, the furnace trail is a great private spot and mornings or evenings can be a great spot.
Wheelchair Accessible:Yes
Warnings:The nearest parking to the furnace trail is about a 1/2 mile away, and you have to park at the visitor station. But it's still worth it for some good fun. Warnings: Keep to secluded spots for outdoor fun. Families do use park. Never cruise around kids.
