This place is starting to get a bit more popular, which is good for Alice! Not always busy but always worth a look (summer late afternoons can be quite good...), the road from Stuart Hwy can be pretty cruisy, plus it's an excellent walk. Some good Territory men!
Crowd: Truckies, deliveries, marrieds, bear-type guys, daddies, etc.

Thanks to a helpful cruiser 3/31/2009: The telegraph station is located on Herbert Heritage Drive off Stuart Hwy., 4km (2 1/2 miles) north of town (beyond the School of the Air turnoff). To get there, take a cab or Alice Wanderer bus or the 4km (2 1/2-mile) riverside pedestrian/bike track that starts near the corner of Wills Terrace and Undoolya Road. To drive there, head North (In the direction of Darwin) on Stuart Hwy and look out for Herbert Heritage Drive on the right hand side. Drive to the end oh Herbert Heritage Drive and you will see the car park and toilet block nearby.
